Cold, dark and snowy...

Getting Ready

Well the snow isn'y melting and there is more falling from the sky so I can see that this is going to be a tough challenge to say the least.

I have found out that I need to work between Christmas and New Year and the roads are currently unridable becuase the snow is too deep and slushy. It either has to warm up enough to melt or get cold enough to freeze everything hard before I can get in any decent mileage.

In aniticipation of the latter occuring, I have ordered some snow tyres, I just hope they get here pretty soon.

This is going to be a stretch.

I have only ridden a couple of times since the disc prolapse in my back in June, but I need to get back on the road for my sanity and to get back in the pack next season. This seems like a good challenge and one that I am not undersestimating in the Scandinavian winter.
